They beat the Florida Christian Patriots by a goal, winning 1-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Monsignor Pace's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Florida Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season.

Monsignor Pace didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against Downtown Doral on the 9th. As for Florida Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Westwood Christian on the 10th.
