Fryeburg is 8-1-1 against Lake Region since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will square off against the Lakers at 6:00 p.m. Fryeburg's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Fryeburg took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Freeport, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Falcons 1-0.

Meanwhile, Lake Region and Winthrop finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Saturday.

The Lakers' goal came courtesy of Marley Payton, who's now up to five this season.

Fryeburg's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3-1. With that draw, Lake Region's record moves to 4-2-4.

Everything went Fryeburg's way against Lake Region in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Fryeburg made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
