Pleasant Grove's game  last Wednesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lehi Pioneers, sneaking past  5-3. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
 Keslie Draney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits.
 On the hitting side,  Maile Larsen was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. She is  on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in each of the last four games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Grace Norman, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Pleasant Grove's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Lehi, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 11-3.
 Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  6-4  defeat against Spanish Fork on the 12th. As for Lehi, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  5-2  loss against Salem Hills on the 12th.
