Football Game Recap: Riverside Christian Academy vs. Sacred Heart of Jesus

Riverside Christian Academy found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 28-52 punch to the gut against Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday. It was a tough break for Riverside Christian Academy, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.

Riverside Christian Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from senior John Trahin, who picked up 145 yards on the ground.

The defeat dropped Riverside Christian Academy's record to 2-4. The victory bumped Sacred Heart of Jesus' record up to 3-1.

Next week Riverside Christian Academy take on Franklin Christian Academy at Homecoming at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss. Sacred Heart of Jesus will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Lancaster Christian Academy in four weeks at 7:30 PM. The squad will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
