Soccer Recap: Mexico Comes Up Short

After flying high against Owensville on Saturday, Mexico came back down to earth. Mexico came up short against the Festus Tigers on Saturday, falling 8-0. Mexico were not able to make up for their loss to Festus from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Mexico's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Festus, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Mexico will challenge Wright City at 6:40 p.m. on Monday. This will be Mexico's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Festus, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Hillsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
