Zeigler-Royalton blew Marion out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Marion got their revenge. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The Tornadoes' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Zeigler-Royalton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Butler, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Zeigler-Royalton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Marion, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
