While Windham's win against Bristol wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bombers skirted past the Panthers 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bombers have posted since April 22nd.

Windham let Maddie Smithley and Chanyse Jones run wild. Smithley earned three RBI and two runs, while Jones got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those three RBI gave Smithley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandria Hudak, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Windham always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Windham's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Bristol, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Windham will face off against Cuyahoga Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bristol does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
