Football Recap: Liberty Keeps Rampart's Under Pressure

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 17-3 fall against the Rampart Rams. The Lancers gained 80 more yards on the day, but it was the Rams that made the best use of them.

Even if they lost, Liberty's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Ethan Brewster and Aiden Evitts, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rampart, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6.

Liberty has already played their next matchup, a 63-12 defeat against Durango on the 24th. As for Rampart, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-6 loss against Palmer Ridge on the 24th.
