Volleyball Recap: Elba Comes Up Short

Elba suffered their biggest loss since October 28, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Riverside Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Riverside was led to victory by Brynn Seamann and Addy Seamann. Brynn had 15 digs, while Addy had eight digs and three aces. That's the most digs Brynn has posted since back in September.

Elba has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Riverside, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-3.

Looking ahead, Elba will head out on the road to square off against Burwell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverside, they will take on Nebraska Christian in a tournament on Saturday.
