After losing to Naperville Central the last time they met, Metea Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Metea Valley Mustangs blew past the Naperville Central Redhawks 72-43 on Friday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 24 points or more this season.

Metea Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Naperville Central, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Metea Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lindblom at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Metea Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Lindblom likes a good challenge. As for Naperville Central, they will take on Waubonsie Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
