Soccer Recap: Veritas School Comes Up Short

After flying high against Blue Ridge on Monday, Veritas School came back down to earth. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Christchurch School Seahorses on Thursday. Veritas School have struggled against Christchurch School recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Veritas School's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Christchurch School, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2-2.

Looking ahead, Veritas School will be playing in front of their home fans against North Cross at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christchurch School, they will head out to challenge Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
