Volleyball Recap: Roy Comes Up Short

Roy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Clearfield Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Roy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Clearfield work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 28-26, 25-21.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Clearfield, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Roy will square off against Bear River at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Clearfield, they will welcome Bountiful at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
