The Rickards Raiders will head out to face off against the Wakulla Christian School Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Rickards has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Rickards fell victim to St. John Paul II and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-0. The Raiders have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Meanwhile, Wakulla Christian School never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against Godby as Wakulla Christian School made off with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Matthew Lewis was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Rickards' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wakulla Christian School, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Rickards has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Wakulla Christian School struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
