El Dorado and Amador are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Cougars will face off against the Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

El Dorado will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Bradshaw Christian, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cougars came out on top against the Pride by a score of 5-0 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Amador waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Diamondbacks 18-8. The Buffaloes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Amador's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for El Dorado, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12-1.

El Dorado might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Amador when the teams last played back in April. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
