Softball Recap: Geneva Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Geneva and Dale County squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Geneva had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-4. The Panthers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Dale County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season.

Geneva wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-4 win against Ashford on the 29th. As for Dale County, they have also already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Daleville on the 29th.
