After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Madison brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They had just enough and edged out the Avery County Vikings 4-3 on Monday. This was payback for Madison, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

They hit Avery County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Micah Winters, Walker Adamson, Fernando Monzon, and Hayden Ferro.

Madison's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7. As for Avery County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
