Preview: Trinity Academy vs. Notre Dame
Notre Dame will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Trinity Academy in at 7:30 PM. Notre Dame has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Notre Dame might have drawn first blood against Baylor last Thursday, but it was Baylor who got the last laugh. Notre Dame ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-35 walloping at Baylor hands. Notre Dame were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-35.
Trinity Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Hampton 28-6. Trinity Academy was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Trinity Academy's lifted them to 1-0 while Notre Dame's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Trinity Academy can add another positive mark to their record or if Notre Dame can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Trinity Academy's step.
