Baseball Recap: El Camino Takes a Loss

El Camino fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Sage Creek on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since May 7, 2024.

Tyson Rodriguez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

El Camino's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5. As for Sage Creek, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.
