Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Maypearl's Tenth in Last 11 Outings

Maypearl lost to Holland back in November of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Maypearl Panthers came out on top against the Holland Hornets by a score of 46-35. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 424th, while the Hornets are ranked 1406th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Maypearl is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Holland, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Maypearl wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-36 loss against China Spring on the 28th. As for Holland, they will face off against Milano at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
