Jayhawk Linn dropped down to 6-5 on Thursday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a blow against the Osawatomie Trojans, falling 60-28. The game marked the Jayhawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

As for Osawatomie, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Jayhawk Linn is ranked 202nd).

Jasper Sallee had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Blaine Flanagan, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Coming up, Jayhawk Linn will be playing at home against Uniontown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Osawatomie, they and Pleasanton will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
