Chenango Valley barely beat Seton Catholic Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 14-3 victory on Thursday. Considering the Warriors have won four games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Abby Cron made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.
In other batting news, Chenango Valley let Colsten Beers and Mackenzie Hubenthal run wild.
