Waverly had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lincoln Southeast Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hallie Lauenstein paced Waverly's offense, picking up eight kills. Lauenstein got some help from McKinley Moser and her 20 assists. Moser was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Waverly's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Lincoln Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Waverly will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on York at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Lincoln Southeast, they will challenge Columbus on Thursday.
