O Ball was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Ball was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on L Pinkham, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. C Ward was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Erskine Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Lincoln Academy by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Erskine Academy has suffered since April 29, 2024.
