Softball Game Preview: Orange Panthers vs. Los Amigos Lobos

Orange hasn't had much luck against Los Amigos recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Orange Panthers will host the Los Amigos Lobos at 3:15 p.m. Orange will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Orange is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell 11-8 to Tustin on Monday.

Liliana Nunez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Those stolen bases marked the first that she snagged this season. Chloe Vasquez was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Nunez wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Orange kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Los Amigos put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Portola by a score of 7-2.

Los Amigos' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
