Volleyball Recap: Andrew Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Andrew, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Andrew took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12.

Andrew's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-17. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Andrew and Bradley-Bourbonnais could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Thunderbolts (ranked 126th) will meet Homewood-Flossmoor (ranked 39th) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais will challenge Stagg at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (239 vs. 36).
