After a string of nine wins, Grace Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of The Rock Lions by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Grace Academy still got an impressive performance from Anjali Vemuri, who had 14 digs. With that strong performance, Vemuri is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Ahalya Vemuri also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Grace Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 27-4. As for The Rock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-8.

As of now, neither Grace Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
