            Cardinal Stritch won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune  on Friday. They were dealt  a  65-29 defeat at the hands of the Ottawa Hills Green Bears. The Cardinals have struggled against the Green Bears recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Cardinal Stritch's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Makayla (KK) Miltz, who  posted nine  points and four  steals. Miltz has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  steals the last four times she's  played.  Sydney Miller was another key player,  putting up 11 points and seven  boards.
 Even though they lost, Cardinal Stritch was working as a unit and  finished the game with ten  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Ottawa Hills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kendell Skiver, who  went 8 for 16  en route to 18  points along with eight  steals and six  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sophia Vanslooten, who  went 6 of 12  on her way to 19 points in addition to seven  assists and five  boards.
Cardinal Stritch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ottawa Hills, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
 Cardinal Stritch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  49-15  win against Woodward on the 14th. Ottawa Hills has also  already played their next contest,  a  52-42  loss against Rossford on the 11th.
