Basketball Game Preview: Peoples Academy Wolves vs. Richford Falcons

Peoples Academy is 7-2 against Richford since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Peoples Academy Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Richford Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Peoples Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They managed a 66-61 win over Lyndon Institute. The Wolves didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Richford had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They blew past the Olympians 77-47. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

Richford's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Peoples Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Everything came up roses for Peoples Academy against Richford in their previous matchup back in February of 2021, as the team secured a 66-28 win. Will Peoples Academy repeat their success, or does Richford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
