Football Recap: Searcy's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Searcy had won two straight games and Bryson Thompson did his part to make it three on Friday. The Lions came out on top against the Harrison Goblins by a score of 19-7 with plenty of help from Thompson, who picked up 116 receiving yards and one touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 66 yards.

Searcy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Harrison, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Searcy and Harrison will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Lions see the field they'll take on White Hall at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Harrison, their break will end when they face Alma at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
