Tucker Evans made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Richland's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 3-1 (and 6-10 when he doesn't).
