Hillsboro posted their closest victory since February 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Clay Center Tigers out 36-34. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.6 points per game. As for Clay Center, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-3.
