JW North had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 17-run drubbing they dealt Vista del Lago on Tuesday. The Huskies were the clear victors by  an  18-1 margin over the Ravens. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight  runs or more this season.
 Natalie Munoz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. What's more,  she posted five  strikeouts, the most she's  had since back in March. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Audrina Camacho was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, six  RBI,  and four  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Lily Hiraoka, who  went 3-for-4 with four  stolen bases and four  runs.
 JW North was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .594. They are 9-3 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The  victory was  the third in a row for JW North, bringing their record up to 14-9. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Vista del Lago, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
 Coming up, JW North will square off against Canyon Springs at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Vista del Lago, they will face off against Heritage at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Ravens are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
