Basketball Recap: Wallowa Comes Up Short

Wallowa lost against Powder Valley back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wallowa Cougars fell to the Powder Valley Badgers 43-38. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wallowa's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Powder Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, Wallowa will square off against Pilot Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Powder Valley, they will head out to face off against Cove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Powder Valley is facing Cove at the right time seeing as Cove is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
