Football Game Preview: Blacksher Bulldogs vs. Jay Royals + How To Watch

The Blacksher Bulldogs will head out to take on the Jay Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Blacksher sitting on five straight wins and Jay on four.

Blacksher is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 54-3 victory over Bayshore Christian. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bulldogs just coasted through the last quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blacksher to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hunter White, who rushed for 119 yards and two scores on only 12 carries. That's the most rushing yards White has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Lagan Rolin, who rushed for 68 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Blacksher was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 399 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, after only 13 points in their last game, Jay made sure to put some points up on the board against Wewahitchka on Friday. The Royals simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gators 45-14. Considering the Royals have won three contests by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Blacksher's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Jay, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Blacksher might still be hurting after the 49-23 loss they got from Jay in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Bulldogs, Hayden Morris (who threw for 174 yards and two TDs on only ten passes, and also rushed for 39 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
