Baseball Game Preview: Windsor Jaguars vs. Oakland Tech Bulldogs

The Windsor Jaguars will face off against the Oakland Tech Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Windsor is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Friday, Windsor needed a bit of extra time to put away Cardinal Newman. They beat the Cardinals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1.

Windsor's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Curry, who went 3-for-5 with one RBI.

Rodriguez hit Oakland Tech with a four-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-6.

Windsor's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Oakland Tech, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.
