Basketball Recap: Cooper Takes a Loss

Cooper lost against Pantego Christian back in November of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dragons fell 54-48 to the Panthers. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Evan Jackson had another great game (as he tends to do), going 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to rack up 27 points for Pantego Christian. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Brooks, who posted seven points and eight rebounds.

Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pantego Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Cooper has already played their next contest (against Lake Country Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pantego Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-49 win against Concordia Lutheran on the 25th.
