Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cole Coggin and Josh Harris Lead Riverview Sarasota to Victory

Riverview Sarasota won the last time they faced Booker and things went their way on Thursday too. The Riverview Sarasota Rams walked away with a 71-63 victory over the Booker Tornadoes.

Leading Riverview Sarasota to victory were Josh Harris and Cole Coggin. Harris went 9 for 15 on his way to 27 points, while Coggin almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine assists. Harris' evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Howard, who posted six points and four steals.

Booker lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being J.P Lattimore, who put up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Chris Perets, who had 15 points.

The win got Riverview Sarasota back to even at 9-9. As for Booker, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Riverview Sarasota wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-59 victory against Ridge Community on the 18th. Booker has also already played their next game (against IMG Academy Gold), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
