Springer hadn't done well against Gateway Christian recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Red Devils blew past the Warriors 3-0. For the Red Devils, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Brenna Duran paced Springer's offense, picking up 11 kills. Duran got some help from Abigail Eppler and her 23 assists. Finally, Olivia Burton kept Springer's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Springer is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Gateway Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Springer has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Mora on the 23rd. As for Gateway Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Tatum on the 22nd.
