Football Recap: Chesaning Takes a Loss

Chesaning was the 47-22 winner over New Lothrop when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Hornets. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly 28 points.

Juanito Escamilla threw for 54 yards on six of ten attempts. Law Danek was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

Chesaning now has a losing record of 1-2. As for New Lothrop, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chesaning will face off against rival Mt. Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, New Lothrop is set to square off against their familiar foe Birch Run at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
