Recap: Trotwood-Madison Rams vs. Lima Senior Spartans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winton Woods, the Trotwood-Madison Rams were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 74-65 win over Lima Senior. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Delamar Blanton was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tim Carpenter, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Trotwood-Madison is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Lima Senior, they dropped their record down to 10-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trotwood-Madison will play host again and welcome Mansfield Senior, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lima Senior, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Thurgood Marshall at 7:30 p.m. Thurgood Marshall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 529th, while Lima Senior is ranked 94th).
