Baseball Recap: Blue Valley West Jaguars vs. Dodge City Demons
Blue Valley West never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Dodge City on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Demons a 15-0 shutout. The Jaguars have beaten the Demons the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Demons has come to flipping the script.
Nick Poste looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Tru Tracy was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Brandon Parks also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.
