Basketball Recap: Evergreen Takes a Loss

Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. The game between them and the Lindbergh Eagles didn't end well, with the Evergreen Wolverines falling 55-39. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent defeat being a 86-54 loss two weeks ago.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Lindbergh, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Coming up, Evergreen will square off against Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lindbergh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
