Basketball Recap: Hood River Valley Comes Up Short

Hood River Valley was the 70-66 winner over La Salle when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Hood River Valley Eagles took a hard 73-58 fall against the La Salle Falcons on Monday.

Hood River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for La Salle, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hood River Valley will host Canby at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Canby knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Hood River Valley likes a good challenge. As for La Salle, they will take on Putnam at 7:15 p.m. on February 18th.
