While Centennial's victory against Midlothian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans skirted past the Panthers 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ava Ellis, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Kalie Randall was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Midlothian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
