Football Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Kelso Hilanders and fell 40-7. While losing is never fun, the Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Hilanders are ranked 74th).

Cashton Liedtke threw for 162 yards and one touchdown.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Kelso, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mountain View is set to face off against their familiar foe Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kelso will square off against rival Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
