Soccer Game Preview: Vilonia vs. Little Rock Christian Academy

Vilonia hasn't had much luck against Little Rock Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Vilonia took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Parkview get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Vilonia, who have now won five matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Little Rock Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bears. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Little Rock Christian Academy were the better team in the second half.

Little Rock Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for Vilonia, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
