Basketball Recap: City of Life Christian Academy Takes a Loss

The City of Life Christian Academy Warriors fell 44-37 to the Excel Christian Academy Spartans. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why City of Life Christian Academy lost, don't look at Mia Garcia. Despite the final result, she went 6 of 10 en route to 12 points and five steals. Garcia has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 39 times she's played.

Excel Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bianca Berbick, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aysia Mertz, who posted 15 points and eight boards.

City of Life Christian Academy now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Excel Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
