Soccer Recap: Center Hill Takes a Loss

If Center Hill was riding high fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Corinth on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the St. Patrick Fighting Irish on Friday, falling 7-2.

Dylan Wildeman and Mary-Magers Anderson scored both of Center Hill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Center Hill now has a losing record of 4-5. As for St. Patrick, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4-1.

Center Hill has already played their next contest, a 7-0 defeat against Petal on the 22nd. As for St. Patrick, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Perry Central at 5:30 p.m. on December 2. St. Patrick will be up against Perry Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.63 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
