Football Recap: Orlando Science Sets Scoring Season-High Against Evans

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orlando Science). They enjoyed a cozy 21-2 win over the Evans Trojans on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Orcas.

Orlando Science's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Evans, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orlando Science will square off against Lake Mary Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orlando Science's defense has only allowed 8.8 points per game this season, so Lake Mary Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Evans, they will challenge Windermere at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Evans hasn't scored more than 13 points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.
