Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Robichaud

While Robichaud didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 47-31 victory over the Garden City Cougars on Tuesday. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 46-23 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Robichaud's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.4 points per game. As for Garden City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Robichaud will be home for the holidays to greet Crestwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Robichaud's defense has only allowed 22.8 points per game this season, so Crestwood's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Garden City, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Garden City Cougars challenge the Redford Union Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Garden City is facing Redford Union at the right time seeing as Redford Union is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
